Physical and Cultural Weed Control
Samsun, Turkey, 28 – 30 March 2011
Pre-registration and call for papers
- Registration and provisional title and abstract submission will be online only and have already started (deadline for registration is September 30th, 2010).
- Pre-register in order to insure that you will be allowed to participate. This should only take a few minutes of your time.
- Once you are ready to submit your title(s) and abstract(s), you must fill a form for each presentation that you wish to make (it can be none, one or several). For each presentation, you will have to provide:
- Name of the contact person for the presentation (only one)
- E-mail address of the contact person for the presentation (only one)
- A list of Author(s)
- A title
- A provisional abstract (min 250 - max 500 words) which includes a clear definition of the objectives and of the methodology along with some results.
- Specify whether you prefer to present a poster or an oral presentation (please note that we will take your preference into account, but cannot guarantee oral presentations in all cases).
- Pre-registration and/or abstract submission(s) will be acknowledged.
- We are looking for colleagues to suggest keynote themes and possible speakers, to chair round table discussions and the workshop’s sessions. Please contact Bo Melander directly (bo.melander@agrsci.dk) to offer your services.
Please note that EWRS can offer travelling scholarships for young scientist who would like to attend the workshop. You are welcome to apply for a grant, if you are a MSc student, a PhD student or a post-doc and if you are less than 35 years of age. Please send your application to Bo Melander (bo.melander@agrsci.dk).
HOW TO REGISTER?
You will be able to register to participate in our 9th Physical and Cultural Weed Control Workshop (Samsun, Turkey, 28 – 30 March 2011) once you have logged in the EWRS Login Portal to the private section of the web site.
To login:
1) Click on the link http://www.ewrs.org/ewrslgin/login.asp
2) This will bring you to the Login Portal of the EWRS
3) Enter your e-mail address and password to enter the secure pages of the EWRS web site. If you do not have a password, click on the link at the bottom of the login page to obtain one. If you have forgotten your password, follow the instructions on the login page.
4) Once logged-in, click on the relevant link(s) to pre-register and/or to submit a provisional title and abstract
5) Enter the necessary information
6) After completion of any of the forms, you will be shown a page containing the information that you entered.
