Welcome
The 4th meeting of the working group ‘Weeds and biodiversity’ will be held in Dijon, France, 28 February to 2 March 2011.
Aim
The aim of the meeting is to present the state of the art on current research, evaluation and preparation of agro-environmental measures with regard to the services provided by biodiversity in the agro-ecosystems and their conservation. The purpose is to exchange results, experience, information, establish networks, and stimulate discussion.
Two introductory lectures on sampling strategies and economic aspects will open the discussion. We invite you to propose topics for round tables (such as landscape scale analysis, functional biodiversity and database, seed predation etc). Oral and poster sessions will be organized on round tables topics as well as on cropping systems, bio-indicators, management and any other themes related to weeds and biodiversity.
